Education only — product knowledge, referral, and no guarantees
Pet Retail & Specialty Pet Store Professionals Academy content teaches retail and store operations — customer experience, product knowledge, merchandising, inventory and recall readiness, e-commerce and marketplace operations, and retail safety and compliance awareness. It provides education only and confers no veterinary authority, no pharmacy authority, no regulatory approval, no product certification, no sales license, and no business license. It provides no veterinary, legal, tax, accounting, investment, pharmaceutical, regulatory, or insurance advice. Retail staff do not diagnose, prescribe, recommend medication doses, interpret symptoms, represent a product as a treatment without authorized labeling, or replace veterinary care — sick, injured, or at-risk animals, and medication, dose, therapeutic-diet, adverse-reaction, or symptom questions, are referred to a licensed veterinarian, and prescription, pharmacy, and controlled products to a veterinarian or pharmacist with all local sale restrictions followed. For suspected poisoning, ingestion, acute reactions, or immediate animal-safety concerns, contact a veterinarian, an animal poison-control service, or emergency services immediately. Follow manufacturer labels and instructions, honour recalls and adverse-event reporting, never repackage, relabel, alter expiration dates, or sell counterfeit or unsafe products, and where live animals are sold, keep welfare, humane handling, and honest sourcing first and never engage in illegal, prohibited-species, or deceptive sales. Species-specific husbandry, nutrition, clinical, and behavior education is taught in the Animal Academies, and brand, manufacturing, and general animal-business content belongs to separate future academies. No sales, profit, product-performance, health, or customer outcome is guaranteed, and users must confirm local retail, animal-sale, food and feed, pesticide, prescription-product, advertising, privacy, employment, exotic-animal, import/export, product-liability, returns, warranty, insurance, accessibility, and consumer-protection requirements with qualified professionals and regulators.
